There's lots of ranger fans that were pissed that torts was fired . Their blogger was one of them . I didn't care for him but even care less for AV . I do like the style they are TRYING to play . They just don't have the higher end talent to play it . But the last six or so games they look alot better . Good thing they are in a poop division

I agree they seem to be coming around

Yup quite a few defended Torts, haven't seen any of them defending MDZ. That has to say something.

Can't say I've seen one fan on here defending him. I'm sure there were a few however. All I've read is them bit©hing about shot blocking and how Torts thinks everybody is stupid and that's why he carries on in his pressers

I think watching the team under AV/Arneil has opened their eyes.

That was a brilliant trade for him. I can't believe some pussies would veto the deal.

You guys seem to veto every pending trade in the pool.

MDZ reminds me of Jyki Lumme , play real good at times but try's to make that impossible pass . Over and over again , never learns from stupid plays or thinks that maybe it was a fluke that the other team intercepted it . Gets old fast . He's probably not as bad as some fans on HB says he is but is not a top four , or at least he doesn't play often enough as a top four .

Agreed. Torts did wonders there his first couple yrs. Richards and Gaborik ripped it up. Guy is a perfect coach for a veteran team. Just don't expect him to be here near as long as AV was.

I think at this point David Suzuki would personally buy-out Booth on behalf of Canadian wildlife if it meant getting him out of the country.

As a young player, AV will casterate him for mistakes. You know Edler had and still has some of thatt

I can see how all of that would get annoying. Torts, like all coaches, has a shelf life. Though his might be shorter than others.

PAC - 26 games above 500
atlantic - 1 game above 500
metro - 9 games BELOW 500

From what I've been reading Del Zotto's risky play doesn't come with enough reward for his team. As I said and as did "way out west" sounds like he's basically been a third pairing PP specialist that needs to be sheltered with easy minutes to be effective. I don't see him suddenly or even gradually taking 2 huge steps to get to Hoff's level.

The rangers PP is way better under AV , But thats not hard after Torts . it got worst every year under him and Sullivan . He's trying to get the dmen to jump up in the play more but don't think he has the horses to play that way . Their break out is better to . I just don't think they have the players to play AV style . Could be wrong thou , and I've been wrong plenty of times in my 59 years .
