If this deal gets done, the Canucks aren't going to move Burrows or Kesler for Del Zotto. I'm thinking, that if this deal happens, it will be Higgins for Del Zotto.

I don't think this is a great deal for the Canucks as their defensive depth is strong enough. With Del Zotto in the lineup, either Tanev or Stanton loses their spot. Alberts will be riding the press box or in Utica, and Corrado will get his chance in two years.

The only way Kesler gets moved is if he demands a trade.

This "rumour" is complete BS unless it is a multiple player move. There is no way in hell Vancouver trades a forward for another d man straight up. It would be like Toronto trying to trade a centre for another goalie right now. They don't need another 2.5 mil added to the back end.

Now, even if for some reason MG lost his freakin mind and thought Burrows for MDZ is a great trade, NY doesn't have the cap space for it anyway. Higgins has a NTC.
