I also don' think the advertisers want thier company name tied to a board that allows the personal attacks and childish behavior that can manifest itself...so it works both ways i think...
- JW98FlyerFan

My point is, that stuff still happens all the time. Everyday by the same people. And your putting it to Ref's to decide. Seriously about 2 weeks ago I was called a Moron and stupid by a poster. Someone else actually came in and stuck up for me. I had just come off a Ban myself, and posted the same rule that got me banned. Another poster then said this guy has enough "cred" on this site he would have to kill someone to get banned. And of course he was not banned.

What this site is letting happen, is Ref's are listening to select people they know, and develop a bias against certain people, while they dont look at anything other posters post.

This. I haven't been coming in here as much b/c of the idiots. I follow the ppl i respect on twitter, 140 characters becomes the issue there though.
- flyguy12

See I don't think you can blame other people if the forum goes down because Twitter has made for an easy replacement. My issue is I dont like twitter and cant use at work.

The idiots comment is just silly though. You can ignore people if you liked posting that much.

It's filtering through all the BS that becomes the problem. If they had an ignore button and I didn't have to read said BS, then I think the site would be improved.

- nastyflyergirl

If there ever was a much needed confidence boosting game offensively, tonight is the night, that being said I expect us to probably be shut out and lose 3-0

Nope. Ongoing personal attacks...

I'm worried that the Oilers will exploit the new, slower older defense...but that's a concern for Saturday

- Jsaquella

we could use some more ongoing personal attacks. keeps it real.

if the flyers can't extract at least 5 points in this 3 game set...well...(frank), i just don't know....

This is just me, but I try to go by the following rule: Don't say stuff to anyone online (twitter, here, facebook, wherever) that you wouldn't say to them in real life, in person.

I want to go past that, if they are only winning these games by 1-2 then they still need to make changes.

The ignore button would be a win/win for everyone really. I don't visit too many internet forums anymore... is there much better board software out there at this point? I'm guessing the software here isn't exactly cutting edge anymore. I know some people don't even want to see the arguing that goes on, but I don't know, I find it entertaining sometimes. But I wish it didn't simultaneously drive good people away too. Ignore button plz

I've also heard not to say anything online you wouldn't spray paint on the front of your house. It can be about as permanent.

i heard some bans were handed out the other night. maybe that's why it's so quiet around here. or maybe the flyers are so embarrassing they're slowly killing the fan base.
- hammarby31

Oooooooh, bans. I love to hear what it takes to be banhammered!!!

Maybe everyone was comfortably or uncomfortably numbed to deal with this teams performances. I prefer a small pitcher of Vodka martinis , shaken not stirred with 4 olives. That way I get my green vegetables

Do we think lecavalier has enough to get hartnell going? I like that line combo on paper but hartnell has been disappointing so far. He and g need to get dirty tonight if they want to turn it around. I mean during the game, not after.
