Look at it from a number of games perspective. How many games do we get hall for in a year? He's my favourite oiler. Him and yak. He's had bad luck but at what point do we consider him a guaranteed injury every year? He has te most value. I don't to trade him but wouldn't rule it out for the right pieces.

By that time, Gagner will be over 25 and thus locker room cancer, so we'll trade him for a 2nd to make room for McDavid.

Honestly we can't trade Eberle. He may not take the opposition to the boards when he is supposed to, but he does everything else so well. Eberle makes his line mates better. This is why he is the perfect complementary player on a strong 1st line, but not the player that stirs the drink so to speak.

I saw Reddox try to pick up my friend one night at a bar. She did a physio stint during her school with the Oilers so she knew who he was meanwhile he had no idea. He was all "I play for the Oilers ". Her only response was "Yes, but you suck." and then walked away

I was surprised to see jt miller in the nhl this soon. Statistically it didn't look like he was dominating the ahl.

I am interested in jt miller but kreider and McDonagh would help this team a lot. If there was a way to get all three that'd be great. Something like yak + 1st + klefbom + smid for McDonagh + kreider + jt miller.

We get a big winger, a big centre and a top pairing dman. I would prob put miller in the ahl but I haven't really seen him play.

Massive over pay on our part. I'd love Mcdonagh but no thanks to the other 2. I'd rather keep Klef, yak and the pick than get lesser parts.

Really? Are their any big 2-way Defencemen with proven NHL experience available to be picked? No? Then what difference does it make what 18 year old we take?

Theres a guy saying get rid of Lowe. Maybe. However Last time we made the playoffs we went the farthest you can go. I give a pile of credit to Kevin for that. He made a winning team. Sure Pronger was a goner before he hit the showers in game 7, but he and Peca played huge rolls for that season. Its not a curse. It's a matter of the right pieces. People like to compare it to the Pittsburgh rebuild. Crosby played with Lemieux. Who's Hall got? Horcoff? Smyth? One or two more older guys. If that means Ebs goes then so be it. One last thing too. Please Edmonton don't ruin Yakapuv. This guy has the potential to retire his jersey and let it hang from the rafters.

People hate on Lowe because he says stupid things and because he had 2 terrible years as GM. Most of the posters on here were too young to appreciate the outstanding work he did on a shoestring budget for the 1st 75% of his tenure. I'm not going to say that he has done everything right, he hasn't , but I have noticed this: after Tambo was fired The hate for Lowe has ramped up.
