I loved Park. Everytime he scored he looked like he had no idea where he was or what was going on. Greatest facial expressions ever.

I'm excited by this move as Jon is from my home town in Nova Scotia and I hope he can use this opportunity to get back into pro hockey.

Just watched 30 for 30: Big Shot. Well done documentary, but it had me wondering how Isles fans feel about having their team play in Brooklyn next season? In the film, the director really made it a focus how the Coliseum was the pride and joy of Long Island when built... obviously it is a giant p.o.s nowadays, but I still imagine it is upsetting to see the team play elsewhere.
I like the Vanek trade for you guys and seem to be in the minority when I say he re-signs there.

Im upset they are moving away from the NVMC.. I LOVE that place... but for the health, stability & value of this franchise to ever be strong... Brooklyn was/is the only viable destination. For that reason I miss NVMC and always hold its memories near and dear but look forward to new memories in Brooklyn

Was shocking to see that footage of water pouring from the ceiling inside Nassau Coliseum. I take it, repairs were eventually made and fans no longer had to bring umbrellas with them?

AMac is a great D-men, he is just being over used (time wise) and in the completely wrong situations (against top lines) If he were getting 20 min a night on another team... it would benefit him & us a whole lot!

In his first two games with the Checkers, both losses, he allowed nine goals for a 4.53 goals-against average and .875 save percentage.

He played really well in that second game, the team lost 5-3 but he made 38 saves in the game. He keeps it up, he'll be in a Canes Jersey by the new year.

NVMC isn't the first arena in history to have a leak in its' roof or have a 30 year old pipe burst. In reality, all of those maintenance issues are/were the responsibility of SMG, which stands for Slumlord Management Group. Never heard better sound in an arena for a concert and can remember how 15,000 fans could sound like 50,000.

In spending a Billion dollars to renovate MSG, they still haven't been able to remove the smell of piss from their facility. All my Canadian friends who have ever visited NYC have told me they refer to MSG as the world's smelliest arena. So, who cares. Anyone been to Joe Louis arena recently? Maybe no one rags on it because the Wings are perennial contenders.....

They just capitalized on both mistakes the rangers made. Good team. Didn't realize their pk and pp were so abysmal though? Best five on five team in the NHL and the worst special teams.

I think I'd be happier with any other Buffalo d-man, with the exception maybe of McBain. At least the rest of them are either good prospects (Pysyk, Risto, Zadorov), talented established player (Ehrhoff), high-ceiling project (Myers), somewhat steady veteran presence (Tallinder). Weber is none of that.
