Simmer heard of the love that was still there for him on the Island. So, he went for it.
He can teach the youngens, on how to be a pompous little wiener. - bixll

No, I defended him in the past. I am a good friend with his Dad. I had a little run in with Sim last year, and he showed his true colours. I defend him to no one any more, he is on his own. Feel sorry for his wife and kids. Marla is a lovely lady. |

I'll hold off blasting this move unless he gets a callup. According to EK, Isles and Sabres still talking. - ses111

Jon Sim? This one is beyond odd, while Kabanov wastes away in the ECHL.
Speaking of which, Kabanov has 3g 2a in 5 games thus far....not sure how long they really plan for this little doghouse exile to continue but judging by the Sim signing, we're either dealing someone or Kabanov won't see the Bridge for at least 25 games. |

Did anyone realize that Miro Satan was trying out for the Isles again before the season started and continued to practice at Iceworks the first couple of weeks......he came in to my mothers dentist office in syosset and got a autograph .....i always liked Miro..class act - Saucehockey
I am still furious he did not score in that playoff game vs. Buffalo.. time running out.. wide open net .. to tie it.. and Miller flopped over backwards with his arm and stopped his lame shot. ... but I did like Miro in general. (He was not Moulson... but I like him) |

I believe he played with a broken ankle in that series...which doesn't excuse him missing an open net, but it's admirable... |

I get it... Snow was starting to get a little credit for the Vanek trade (I still want Moulson back.. fyi). so he wanted to do something absurd to show everyone he is clueless.. that way when he calls them they assume he is a moron and they are picking him off...
Friggin Brilliant!!!
Shea Weber for Anders Lee and Kabanov is imminent. |

Trading a Lee or Kabanov in a package for a Dman would be interesting. |

Depending on the return. It seems as though Kabanov has run his course with the team so I wouldn't doubt if he was involved in something eventually. We need more time to evaluate Poulin before dealing an asset for anything IMO. |

Can't necessarily disagree with that at this point, though I suppose he may gather some interest as a reclamation project. He certainly has the skill and size. He wouldn't bring much back though. |

No question he would have to be included in a bigger package. Just him will bring back very litttle. |

I'm hoping Poulin is the answer in goal. If given enough playing time it would not shock me. How Jack handles the goalies is a huge test. |

God...please, no. I mean, if Edmonton wants to trade for him or sign him...via con dios....but I don't want to ever see him in an Isles uni again. |
