With all these injuries piling up for the Leafs that 1st round pick could be a doozy - keep it. Too bad Giroux isn't playing well - last year or this.

This years draft isn't the strongest, if you can get a player of Giroux's talent you trade away that pick, I'm just worried about trading Reimer.

I'm all aboard with trading Reimer, especially if you get someone like Giroux. I just don't think now is the right time. Have you seen the way the Leafs play? They need their goalies to steal them games. They need a servicable back up for Bernier to be safe, a la Kudobin.

We're talking about Holmgren here....the same guy that traded Richards, Carter, 2 1sts Lupul and Sbisa for an aging Pronger...signed Bryzgalov to a ridiculous contract only to buy him out a couple years later....traded JVR for Schenn....Giroux could be had.

Yeah forsure, we'd just have to hope McIntyre can handle a few onslaught games. Ultimately I believe the Leafs use Reimer to get a top 2 centre.
