the most shocking part of that video isn't that Lupul tried to kill Sedin or that he foolishly hit his own player....it's that Sedin didn't act like he had been killed and roll around on the ice flailing about like a fish out of water. That tells you much that hit actually missed by because lord knows if you come within a foot of a Nuck they go down....so I think it's an illusion using angles.
