Can't hurt at all to try Mckegg, who knows he might come up here gain some confidence then go back to the AHL and take a step forward down there. Its amazing sometimes how guys struggle in the A, and then somehow do amazing in the NHL.
And whoever suggested Matthias....I wouldn't mind him at all either. - mykokes
Where does everyone think hes going to play? I dont really understand the need to call him up... |

you guys seem so sure..
my opinion is he was moved from centre to wing before his pro career started for what is likely a very good reason - Dozzer
"you guys" is a sweeping generalization... I'm not part of the "you guys" you speak of... I'd leave Kadri at the #1 C before moving JVR there... I'm just saying, JVR has been sautéed in awesome sauce this year so far... what if, just maybe, he moves to C and it's not completely horrible?
Or like you said, negative ninny, maybe he moves there and gets hit by a zamboni... all or none of it could happen |

The Flyers have a history of drafting centres, gives them flexibility. They then shift them to the wing if they have too many. It's a Flyer thing. |

If JVR is trying C
we have 4
the fringe NHLer was Captain of the Marlies and has NHL experience and was already 1st call up earlier this season and has stuck around cut the guy some slack
What do you want an All Star on your 4th line ...its a few shifts a game |

I knew the (frank)ed up as soon as they didn't pick Murray or Galch, to me Galch was always going to be the better player |
