O'Reilly now plays on wing and I've seen MacKinnon playing on a line with Stastny... And it seems to work very well.

I have...but obv they arent all playing center because theres 4 of them vying for 2 spots! If two guys are fine with playing the wing instead of center, then perfect! But as previously mentioned, someone like O'Reilly could not be so happy about it. I really cant say...all speculation/discussion on my part.

I think of any of their young talent, it'll be Yak that goes. But man, they need a time machine version of a Ryan Smyth in their top 9 in a bad way. Just no fight in that team at all; east-west finesse guys up and down the line-up.

if anything, leafs will just sign/trade for the likes of Zigomanis / Tim Brent or another player able to fill up the 4th line C and upon return of some roster players returning to the Marlies.

Shawn Matthias might be a possibility, but not sure what Florida would want in return..
