I wonder if the Avs would let go of O'Reilly...hes making 5M this year, will need to be resigned and they have Stastny to resign as well...Stastny isnt exactly old and he's more "proven" if you will.

if stats is willing to take a serious pay cut.. maybe down to 3.5-4million then no biggie.

otherwise they trade stats at the deadline to the highest bidder.. and by that point.. many teams could afford what is left of hit for the year

O'Reilly now plays on wing and I've seen MacKinnon playing on a line with Stastny... And it seems to work very well.
