So if we gave up our 1st Rounder 2014, Gardiner(drafted first round and could be traded for a first rounder for sure), Reimer(could be traded for a first for sure), and possibly a higher end prospect like a matt finn, with bozak to balance the salary cap issue should be able to complete a deal for Giroux. Which is a hell of alot to give up

it really is embarrassing when a Vancouver fan makes a crack about diving. its like they really don't have any idea that the rest of the hockey world is in at least the 5th year of the canucks being the bunghole of every single diving joke made.

the really sad part is that games like the Leaf game happen - and you get gong-show officiating like that, and they really believe that it justifies the diving, whining and generally soft hockey story... which flies directly in the face of what they already know themselves from the Cup final loss- you can't successfully play that way in the playoffs.

hence their "fury" when it gets identified and called out.

they're just butt hurt in general.

first time they've had the benefit of watching a game that it wasn't one of their players going for the dive in. they can't possibly let it go.

I still think given how dramatic and right in front of their crap bench it was.. he's obviously making fun of basically every player that's played a game as a canuck flopping all over the ice.
