I don't think either richrards or carter where on the same level Giroux is.

trading Giroux would be the equivalent of the leafs trading kessel when they struggled through a 15 game stretch. not going to happen.

seriously - any deal with the Flyers has to include Liles.

why? because they clearly need yet another somewhat undersized, aging, left hand shot defenseman with a large contract, a concussion history and a glaring lack of ability to play D.

I don't think it's about price tag, they just wont be trading him. after the Crosby, malkin, ovie, stamkos, Tavares types.. it's gotta be kessel, Giroux in the next category. he's top 10 in the world and not exactly old. all those guys are untradeable to me.

Giroux is the doesn't have a pricetag type guy in my opinion, not the guy you trade to shake a team up. i'd be shocked if he was traded anyways.. can't remember the last time a player of his calibre was traded.

I forgot - ix-nay on the Orr or McClaren trade... we've got the Sabres "revisit" coming up.

Here's hoping that Carlyle selects Devane and Broll to come up for those games, while also having Fraser back in the line-up. Unfortunately, Kaleta won't be there... I guess the big boys will have to make due with smacking Ennis, Hodson and Freakerenko around. Hopefully Ott doesn't fight again - it was embarrassing watching him get smacked around by Ashton!
