So you'll basically be trading Giroux for Montreal. - peddy-93
Expected that one.
Was even less funny than expected though. |

Please don't tell me they say he sucks?
That'll remind me of a lot of Leaf fans saying Phaneuf sucks - peddy-93
Not so much the kind of fans that post here, but the facebook group commenters et al are ripping him apart. Just wait, by the offseason there'll be talks of Dry Island 2.0 |

does he still have 0 goals? Thats an issue.. Giroux is a great player so im sure he'll turn it around. - Arctic_AARDVARK
No goals, and it's a big problem. He's been a perimeter player, he needs to start getting to the dirty areas of the ice. The narrative's gone from struggling with the added attention that comes with superstardom (I know, I know), to just plain not being dangerous offensively. |

It appaerently was almost Cream plus Winwood because Cream had just split up and Clapton promised that if he was to hook with Baker again, Bruce would be included:
"Clapton was pleased with the jam sessions, but was hesitant to start a serious group. Ginger Baker turned up one day to sit in with them in 1969, and the band took near-final form. Clapton questioned letting Baker in the band, because he had promised Jack Bruce that, if they were to work with one another again, all three of them would play. Moreover, Clapton didn't want to reunite with Cream barely nine weeks after the break-up, and also didn't want to deal with another "Cream-like" super-stardom situation. Winwood ultimately persuaded Clapton to finalize Baker's inclusion in the line-up, arguing that Ginger Baker strengthened their musicianship and that it would be hard to find an equally talented drummer.[1]"

He's too good a player to not be able to turn it around. I know the fanbase is getting impatient with him, but your team isn't good enough to make the playoffs or do anything in them, you guys sure could use Ekblad. |

Kessel is a perimeter player, and he thrives. But two different players, Giroux has to go back to what he did that got him those 93 points. |

Ya haven't watched PHI either this year, and I knew they weren't going to be great this year, too many question marks, but didn't think they'd be this disastrous, especially Giroux. |

Before the season started i would have thought Giroux would be the one bright spot. What's concerning is that who knows how good they will be next year. This year is a write off already. |

They have a lot of question marks to answer that's for sure.
How will Schenn/Coots be next year?
Who will be their goalie?
How are they going to improve that horrendous blueline?
Holmgren will most likely be gone, so who becomes GM to make these decisions? Philly is disastrous right now and I didn't think they'd be a disaster any time soon two years ago. |

oh jeez they're still here lol can't wait to buy the commemorative Nov.2nd 2013 Leafs / Canucks game DVD with Sedin sister conjoined bobble-head! and gold print Ryan Kessler speedo. |

Gotta think Holmgren's time is up soon. Hextall wouldn't leave a championship caliber organization for an equivalent rank here unless he knew he was very likely to take the wheel, imo. |

wait why are we talking about acquiring giroux? in what humongous big universe would the flyers trade him? especially while his value is so low... - MetroidPrime
The one where he anchors our second line with Yakupov, and all it costs us is D'Amigo.
We covered this. |

I understand that, but in that Vancouver game, there were ample amounts of quality scoring chances.
I don't read in too much regarding shot count as opposed to quality, but there have been games where the Leafs give far too many quality scoring chances. Bernier and Reimer bailed them out on a lot of them. - peddy-93
Oh yeah, against VAN, we played terribly and were 4v5 for a 1/3 of the game.
What I'm saying is that all the Corsi clowns are freaking out re: shots when coaches like Carlyle have been tracking scoring chances for years and in my opinion, more accurate, even if subjective by nature, than shots/Corsi. |

Achille's tendon would be the worst tendon to severe in the foot area, takes longest to recover and rehab from. Although severing any tendon takes a while to come back from.
Then again, Karlson completely severed his Achillie's and was expected to be out for the whole season and beyond and was back way before that. - peddy-93
tendon injuries are brutal.
I severed all tendons to my middle and index fingers on the 15th of may.
am still in physio, and they still don't work worth a poop. |
