Do not engage those who are out to disrupt the thread. Simply hit the post report button "!" and the Mods will deal with it from there.

Do not correct the spelling and grammar of other posters. Their errors may make you question how much credence to give their opinions, that’s up to you, but correcting their lapses is rude and trollish.






Just wanted to point out that this section of the CoC has been blatantly broken in the last 24 hours... and continues to be... in this new thread...

The Flyers thread was out of control yesterday -- yeah, we're terrible, and yeah, Friday was a debacle, but holy hell, the trolls were out in force, to the degree that we couldn't even talk about hockey. It was relentless.

Mods came in, a few of them, and that crap stopped. I'm not a perfect poster, and I'm not pretending that I've never "Internet slap-fought," but I'd be more than happy to take my chances with a no-tolerance policy than what happens when no mods are around.

There was a time when Leafs threads had no mods... the trolling was bad then too... perennial losers and all that... to combat the trolls, you had to embarrass them and drive them away... which isn't that hard since most of them were conceived through buttsecks.... but then we got mods... and that was good too... it only really got weird in here when trolls weren't banned and home town posters were banned for replying to trolls...

I think playing JVR out of position would be irrelevant. When Kadri can just center that line. The only decent center we have in the marlies is Mckegg. Since we already have smith playing, might as well bring Mckegg up since he suits better the 2nd line over guys like mcclement and smith in terms of creating a play and offensive ability
