So what does everyone think it would cost to acquire both Schenns?

Dion, Kulemin and a conditional 1st if he doesn't resign would be a good start

We wouldn't be in possession of a legit no. 1 centre but we'd be young, deep and able to keep the cap situation under control.

Edit:

Dion, Gauthier or Biggs, Liles(all of him) and a 1st if Dion doesn't resign. Perhaps bury Meszaros or another salary to balance the books. I dunno, too lazy to check if the numbers fit.

I wonder if Philly would be interested in trading LeCavalier...

He's injured right not, that's not going to help us right now.

I have no problem with this... give them 2 games this weekend... although tough to judge the player if they suck against boston... most do....

Nobody close though.

Raymond JVR kessel
Lupul Kadri Clarkson
Kulimen McClement Leivo
McLaren smith Orr

Really not that bad. See how JVR does before throwing in a prospect who isn't ready.

I see Spencer Abbott coming up before McKegg. McKegg's all offense and hasn't really been lighting it up.

Spott has McKegg playing a two way game and has drawn praise from the coach, he is the logical choice for a couple games. If they move JVR to centre then look for Leivo as a callup.

I think we can ride that for a bit, hopefull JVR can do well in that centre role, if he does than there's no point in making trades or anything

McKegg is not all offence. He's pretty solid 2 way actually, but hasn't been playing well all around.

yeah.. and after this weekend bozak is only a coule weeks off.. so.. if say some like mckegg can at least handle not (frank)ing things up then thats they way to go imo
- Dozzer

I am a little leary of the lack of clear info... earliest time back is Nov 21... if it went even 2 weeks longer that could be another 5-6 games....

I was thinkin Greg myself.

Kadri 1 / Mckegg 2 (shadowed by Lupul and Clarkson) / McClement 3 / and Smith 4

worth a shot imo

I still say it should be Kulimen. Russia put him as 2C over several top khl guys at the worlds a couple years go, and he was good.

hmm... I remember back in junior, he hadn't ever met his team's goalie. Good on Spott.

Pretty sure he was widely referred to as a 200 ft player by his own coach when drafted. His 2-way game has been lauded since day 1. Issue has been he hasn't brought the offence yet at AHL level.
, but his defence has always been good. Eakins was using him as shutdown line at times.

Abbott is leading in points for forwards with the Marlies but is a RW, but if they go with Kulemin or JVR at centre, I rather see Leivo called up, more of a physical game to him.

Already played a few NHL games and did pretty well too, logical to call him up if that's the case.
