We wouldn't be in possession of a legit no. 1 centre but we'd be young, deep and able to keep the cap situation under control.

Edit:

Dion, Gauthier or Biggs, Liles(all of him) and a 1st if Dion doesn't resign. Perhaps bury Meszaros or another salary to balance the books. I dunno, too lazy to check if the numbers fit.

he was never really dependable. Each and every time he was out there, I would hold my breath. He is a very slow moving defenseman who is prone to bone headed moves.

You could normally tell by his first shift how his game was going to go. Shame because I recall liking him as much as I like JVR at one point.

Maybe even JVR, although his game is much better suited for the wing. And his chemistry with Kessel is hard to break up.
