Manuel is better than Thad. It's not a huge difference but Thad has awful pocket presence. He has lost some awful fumbles and taken some pretty bad sacks. He has hit the big play, only reason is because teams are giving him that. Once they take that away and he has to be consistent with throws from 10-20 yards we are in trouble

Also he really has only one throwing speed. Not that its really bad but he seems to only throw darts that unless they are right on target are totally uncatchable.

Honestly he's played above what I thought he would, but Manuel is better IMO. Look at the defenses Manuel faced. Carolina is damn good, Jets are top 5, Ravens and Browns. That's a tough 5 week debut

If Tuel plays anything like he did against the Browns we could see a record low QB rating

I think he's a good locker room guy and a hard worker. I'd be ok with him being around for another year, maybe two. I'd like some of that hard work ethic to rub off on the kids. I also think he helps this team defensively and on the PK.

In general this whole discussion is completely ridiculous. Kaleta is not the issue on this team. There are much bigger issues for sure. I know some people think that the Sabres did this just to prove a point to the league, but I think it has more to do with them trying to prove a point to Kaleta. Don't forget, when he got suspended last year they sat him an additional game.
