as with any team. Miller has sucked pucks like every other goalie.Who cares if you GAA is high if you can't win games. - cabin
Enroth has looked good in spots,
I'm interested to see how he reacts once he's given the reins |

Chad Ruhwedel and Brayden McNabb are both RFAs this year. Assuming we don't trade one of them, we qualify both of them, and they are competing for 1 roster spot, who gets it? - Jawallstar1
I know McNabb has more upside but I think Ruhwedel has more consistency to his game. I think he's a better passer as well so I think I'll say him. I think McNabb gets dealt within the next calendar year. |

I might be wrong but Homer mentioned last season that Darcy has issues with McNabb and that's why he's not here. |

He's not the brightest bulb in the box.
There is a reason why McNabb isn't here and it's Darcy. |

At this point, I'm ok with him still being in Rochester. They're actually playing pretty well. Last I checked they were over .500. |

From very limited time up I have to agree. McNabb has shown a big shot but has looked slow to anticipate, while Weedy seems a little more polished in a Teppo-esque kind of way.
Very small amount of viewing on my part of both, however.
McNabb reminds me a little of Chris Butler. |

Darcy's agenda seems to be a little slower then the fans. |

McNabb is nothing like Butler. He's a big body that is willing to play physical and has a huge booming shot from the point. Butler shied away from physical contact. If anything, I'd say Butler's style is closer to Ruhwedel's. |

I looked up the standings. They're 4-2-1. Not anything spectacular, but considering they got blasted 8-1 the first game of the year, they're a lot more respectable than I thought they would be.
McNabb is 6th in scoring for defensemen. Varone and Adam are in the top 20 of all players scoring wise. |

Ruhwedel has no place on the Sabres and Butler was and is horrible, I can't see Ruhwedel on the Sabres in the future. |

Ruhwedel has plenty of time left that he can spend in the A. This is only his first year there. I can see them hanging onto him for a bit. I actually liked his game last year. To me, if anything, he's a guy that plays similar to Pysyk. Not much panic in his game. Good outlet pass.
On an interesting note, until the game on Saturday, Pysyk had been on the ice for only 4 of the 43 goals against we had. |

I don't know if you read it or not but, I was at the 3 game home stand with the Wranglers this weekend. They played the FT Wayne Comets and Andrei Makarov was the starter, he was on loan from what I understand. He played very well. |

Makarov is going to be interesting to keep an eye on. He can be really good, but then be really bad the next game. He needs to get some consistency in his game. If he can, he may be a steal as an undrafted free agent. |

He looked good but then again, the Wranglers don't have much of a scoring touch or D game, or penalty kill or power play. |

Don't think I saw one of McNabb's shots hit the goalie or the net. He seemed slow to react (ala Butler) and maybe memory serves me wrong but the only thing I liked about Butler's game was he would get physical.
Maybe darcy is the reason, but if McNabb were all that he'd have more time up here to show what he can do. |
