It was a sound plan, look at what has happened.
- LeafMan

Think they try to tough it out with Smith and Smithson/McKegg?

Or try to make a move for a temp?

Trying to think who would be available, maybe Marcel Goc from Florida? He's an ok 3/4 centre, pending UFA, might be a 3rd rounder or something.

Leafs sure could have used Joe Colborne right now. Not that he's anything great, he's probably even less than average. However with Bolland out indefinetly. Bozak out & even when he plays he's often unoticable, Kadri is hot & cold, I guess Colborne would have been looking at least average right now.

Nothing wrong with canucks fans gloating about the win, stop being so sensitive.

seeing as it is only the 2nd time they've beat a good team this year - I'd be shouting it from the rooftops! It was a solid win for the nucks.

I blame on HNIC's PJ & Weekes silly dance. That made hell break loose in here last night. The red shoes, PJ moving like he's on fox hunt. We all lost our fricken minds in here last night. C'mon HNIC what the f was that?

Smithson has to be signed to an NHL contract, Leafs are not generating any offence from the centre position, I would give McKegg a few games, Spott said he is playing solid at both ends of the rink, why not give it a chance?

Goc, I have no idea how he is playing or if he is a fit.

Make fun of Mike Babcock & see what happens. Think we have some closet Wings fans in here who are quite sensitive.

I swear if I have to be called in one more time for this juvenile fighting, you guys won't be posting for a very long time.

Only warning and I don't care if you didn't see this post.

STOP IT!

There's no trolling going on. Just light-hearted ribbing. We're big boys. We can all handle it. Nobody's complaining.

You're housing in the thread like it owes you money... perhaps I can get Augello to write a second blog so it feels more like a 1 bedroom than a studio
- SofaKingBored

basement apartment.... but not really...

just a used sofa from parent's family room upstairs... and a bucket - no bathroom.

There should be a little more leeway to the posters home blog, in no way should there be a huge discrepancy in bans from the "home team".

Kesler isn't a centre right now... he is a winger..... your 2nd best winger from the past 5 years is now playing on Toronto's 3rd line for 1 million dollars (does his best Dr. Evil impression)
- jribout

2nd best winger? Just wait and watch Raymond disappear for the next 10-15 games. Then go on a five game tear and watch it all repeat itself. Last nights Raymond was the same version we Nuck fans have witnessed the pats three seasons. On the plus side though, MayRay only fell down 3 times on his own last night.

Hey everyone , Dave Bolland? Unfortunately for him I am guessing four months minimum. I had a partial tear of the dense part of my Achilles' tendon a few years ago. The doctor gave me the option to have surgery which was involved cutting the tendon and then reattaching it. That would have been a four to six month recovery time. The option I chose was to let it heal naturally. That ended up being an eight week recovery time but with the words of my specialist ringing in my ears for the last few years ..... With the non surgical option it WILL tear again. Good times.

I hope in the case of Bolland, I hope he has a speedy recovery. Luckily for him he is a top tier athlete so that may help his recovery. Unfortunately for him there is only going to be so much tv he can watch and only so much time he can spend on the computer. One other thing that will be a benefit for him is that the injury is on his left leg. He can still drive.

Another way to look at it, the leafs haven't won in Vancouver in 11 years. That's a long time to be dominated.

its hard for him to "unlearn" the falling down part....

he's been doing for what six seven seasons... you can't change your nature that quickly.

yup, he should have stop short of the boards and allowed himself to be thrown in head first, perhaps only spraining his neck slightly.

would have been much more in keeping with the game... probably wouldn't have been a penalty either.
