I know it won't happen, I said it's a stretch at best.

Tyler Johnson is a rookie out of Tampa who is rather good. Plays a nice game, would fit in the system well.

vancouver is overrated, takes a real time like detroit to beat them though.

Couturier seems expendable at the moment given the Flyers state of desperation....he's also not producing this season and didn't have that good a season last year either. We could potentially steal him away from the Flyers and have another JVR situation on our hands once he comes into his own.

He has almost never played center in his career, always been a perimeter winger like Raymond without much else to his game.

You're better off looking at Matthias if you're going down the Florida route.

If were letting Bolland go at the endof the year more so yes but I am thinking of immediate fix for the next month until Bozak is back Matthias' career high 24 points isn't going to cut it

Again, cheap options versus ridiculous dreams at Coots or Stastny and the like.

Decent depth player, but he was expendable even at $1 million out here. Instead we signed Santorelli for 550K. You have to remember our team currently is missing 3 forwards as well, and our top scoring prospect in the AHL also has been out since camp. Not really any room for Raymond on this team. I don't think he's a bad player and am actually surprised it took him so long to find a team.


Just saying, don't be too surprised if he's already reached 2/5 of his production on the year.

That would suck big time! Bolland brings alot to the table and is VERY useful

This one is getting playing time, saving cap space. He'll be up at the end of the year. The other two are likely 2 years away although shinkaruk playing wing could crack the roster sooner seeing as how it requires less defensive responsibility and he's a pure scorer. Jensen will likely see time soon.

Better than Bozak's horrible contract, and he's a center this team could really use. Big time. Guy plays offense, defense, leads, is physical. He's like a more offensively talented Bolland.

Why not?

I didnt get to see tonights game(thank god) but i just saw the game highlights. From what i saw alot of the goals reimer should of had. I think the 3rd goal was due to bollands injury which messed up everything, 4th goal they left reimer out to dry. The first 2 goals he should of had though somewhat.

Kessel fighting? hahaha too funny

Other than that most goals were on the Rielly Franson pairing for tonight

Because they just signed him Lecav is older anyways, if were going for a key centerman id take the gamble on the younger version in stastny and stastny is essential and key in faceoffs/better than bozak if you want my opinion and will provide the offense needed

We're all talking about acquiring Courtier after a season and a half of NHL, JVR was traded like three years after being 2nd overall. Half that team could be traded now.

Stastny is 6.6 Million coming up a free agent. Who are you going to move for that?

Lecavalier is a better player at 4.5 for a few years. Hell, that's almost all of Liles' salary which at this point, must be better than Luke the fluke Schenn who is a healthy scratch these days.
