Great game by Pens. Tried watching Flyers vs. NJ but it was like watching paint dry. Bad hockey.

Best part of that one was a fan with a paper bag on his head. Paper bag had a giant sad face on it and a few Devils and Flyers fans next to him laughing their heads off.

That Bolland cut it considered to be close to Karlssons as far as damage. Yikes. Surgery very soon. Hopefully he'll be okay afterwards. That's a shame.

Looks bad for sure. Devastating injury for anyone but especially a hockey player. Hard to regain strength and mobility.

If he has anywhere near the recovery time that Karlsson did(we won't know) he would only miss around like 35 games or so. I'm gonna guess more it's the same cut % but he could still be back before the season is out and playoffs. I hope so for his sake.

Happy for Zatkoff tonight. He played well and the team really made it a point to play tight in front of him.

Truthfully if its a torn Achilles or ruptured or whatever I would expect him back this year. What Karlsson did last year was remarkable and I don't think anyone has come back from that injury so quickly. Truthfully it showed however he wasn't near 100%.

That was really an impressive defensive clinic last night by the Pens. Impressive. Final shot total for the Jackets was 12. 3 in the first, 4 in the second and 5 in the third. I can't remember the last time the Pens held any team to 12 shots, that is just unreal.

Just goes to show you that they're capable of playing that style of game. Night and day from Friday's game. They were all over the Jackets last night. Their play in the neutral zone was as good as it gets. Let's hope we see more of that......especially next spring.
