Meh Cory has been good and we started slow we have gotten 5 out of a possible 6 points in our last 3 games against very tough opponents in Vancouver, Boston and Tampa. Had Scheider played the Edmonton and Calgary games Marty played we would have won them no questions asked as Marty had looked like he was ready to retire in those first few games. Reid Boucher is doing pretty damn good in his first year in the AHL and Merril is as well and with Gelinas playing amazing with Larsson I don't think we need that A+ level prospect many seem to think we need. Damon Severson has Turned out to be a steal and we have some other guys who could end up doing a lot better then many had thought when first drafted.

Who would trade for MYers and his AWFUL contract...even if the Sabres picked up half his Salary for the next 6 years they would be over paying him...He is a terrible defensive player and does not score or get assists even though he plays on the PP....He is one of the worst players in th NHL imho...He had an awsome rookie year and it's been downhill ever since. Anyone who think s he is good does not watch the same games as I do..

Back when this team had star talent that he would stick up for and back when he used to put the occasional puck in the net he had a role. That's a long time ago now.

Elias, It's not all about skill when you have systems that work and play them well. I am not saying they are great but there are reasons other then they suck to why they might of had such a slow start.
