Mcnabb has been banished to Roch per Darcy for not working out with the Sabres during the off season. "Mcnabb can stay in Roch and will never see another NHL game" Because he had to help his family with the farm over the summer. per convo that came out after Ruff was fired . - cabin
Linnk? Cuz that sounds stupid, although I wouldn't put it past Darcy, I highly doubt there is any credibility to that nonsense.

Ok, well if you are that delusional this conversation is pointless.....Yak is one of the Top 3 prospects in the NHL right now. Mcnabb can't crack the Sabres lineup....That means he should probably be in the ECHL.....I like Ehrhoff is a solid #3 defenseman and I like the 2nd round pick, but I would guess the oilers could get quite a bit in return for last years #1 overall that lead all rookies in goals last year. - Pillar
Source?
Huberdeau?
MacKinnon?
Jones?
Monnahan?
Brodin?
Gally?
Rielly?
Silferburg?
Id say those regardless of any official ranking are proving to be much better prospects than Yak

It's 10 games into his 2nd year....Relax....If the oilers were ready to ship him off for a journeyman defender and AHL'er and a 2nd round draft pick any team in the NHL would do it. - Pillar
I wouldn't call Ehrhoff a journeyman D either. Also why would they be shopping him if they were so happy with him? Face it Edmonton needs to win and needs to win soon. So shipping off a good asset to improve their blue line is something any GM would do if it meant A.) winning now and B.) saving his job since he didn't address the blue line need in the offseason |

Going to the game tonight section 108.
Thought I was going to see Kaleta back tonight but Darcy ruined that.
At least with Patty on the ice I know one of my Sabres gives a REAL poop and plays with heart.
I don't expect Tropp to be the same player as before the injury so the excitement I had to watch him this season is now been tempered.
Benching Grigorenko again?
I'd bet Miller is net again also right?
The decisions this team makes now really have me SMH.
Grigorenko benched while Stifford still has a spot is laughable.
I know they may be trying to get anything positive out of Stifford to try and make him at least worth another 4th liner somewhere.
But I think it's safe to say that ship has sailed.
So why not just continue to stunt the growth, mismanage and dismantle Grigorenko's psyche while Stifford continues to stank up the FNC ice.
Yea thanks , that's why I buy tickets Ron, Darcy ,Ted and Terry. |

The only person that's high is the one that thinks they can get an asset for Drew Staffors....
The Yotes would be more likely to give Runblad his release then try to land staff.....lol....Seriosly, even if Runblad sucks and you are right, why in the world would anyone want Drew and his 4 mil cap hit...I am sure 30 teams would offer something more then DREW!!! - Pillar
You do know we can retain salary right?
I proposed it
a
A. Coyotes are thin at forward and maybe they think Stafford needs a change
B. the Coyotes have a ton of young D and Rundblad needs a change as well. I'm not a (frank)ing GM so relax |

Kaleta's act got old 3 years ago.
He has a target on his back from the league.
The few positives he did bring to the team have always been grossly overrated by the fanbase. |

If Kaleta cared he would keep us off the PK but that never seems to happen. Why they hell would it matter if our #1 goaltender was starting? Who currently on this roster with our record would you want on the ice to actually make the team interesting. Dont complain if you spent the money yourself. You knew what you were getting yourself into. |

Dont get all upset-I just think those trades are insane and would never even be considered by the Oilers or The Yotes...no need to get all upset...and I know that youy are not a GM, but common man! Yak and runblad for nothing and NADA...lol |

Rundblad= Brennan until proven otherwise
Stafford= very little, someone like Rundblad.
Stafford needs a change. I don't care what anyone says he's not as bad as how he's playing here. Not saying he will pot 20-30 goals somewhere else but he's got too much to be what he is here |

He would be playing over Rundblad who's up right now I can tell you that much - sbroads24
I disagree, bnut you were trying to get Runblad for Stafford...Maybe Pysyk and Runblad are close in talent and I like them both long term, but would you trade Pysyk for Stafford! If you wanted to get runblad or a future top for d you would have to pay Staff's salry and throw in a couple draft picks. |

I am not doubting that Yak's could be had, but they would require much more in return, and I don't think the Sabres could make it happen without giving up there top players and high draft picks |

That's your opinion.
The man is a local boy that plays with heart and passion for his hockey club and his team mates.
And now I get that one little thing that stills keeps the Sabres interesting to me this year taken away from me.
A heartless group of players that can't score.
Sorry, I'd rather watch Kaleta running people through the boards all night long. |

Who cares if he is a local boy....He sucks at hockey and is one of the dirtiest players ever! He has more suspensions and fines then anyone in the history of this team....Its time to move on. |

....being traded twice already and on his 3rd team and still can't crack an NHL lineups is a good indicator for me on Rundblad. Back in Europe in a year or 2...count on it |
