Kaleta being waived is just odd.
Wonder if the NHL told Terry to get rid of him for appealing the suspension. Might have embarrassed Gary Bettman. Or could be tied to "winning" the lottery this year.
Or, trying to pressure Miller to accept a trade by sending down his former roommate and friend, PK. Go to Edmonton or your little buddy PK will never see the big leagues again. If Farcy will keep mcnabb down in rochester for helping in his family farm, I think he could pull this little scheme off
I guess we will never know, but we can be sure Darcy is just trying o blame PK for the way things are going. - Da_Cashman
The odd part is it was like Rolston didn't have a clue. He was looking forward to him coming back because of his penalty killing. Then boom he was gone. Just heard Darcy did try to trade him.

That's the strange thing. I can't think of any player who has been traded after serving a suspension. Timing is very weird and I wonder what will happen to Scott in a few games. |

It really isn't that odd, especially in the cap era. When a player is suspended, you don't have to pay him. Why make a move while you are not on the hook for a player's salary? |

Enroth let in 5, he's no Miller. Hackett is a head case. Makarov is far off. Our goaltending situation is not going to be very good when Millers gone.

Even if Enroth didn't let 5 in our goaltending situation doesn't get better when Miller is traded or leaves at the end of the year |

2015 draft has one hell of a goalie. He had 1.17 GAA last year. I think it also has tretiak's son, that'd be fun. |

Why?
No offense to Vanek (always liked him), but the worse the Isles do, the better the pick we'll get |

Well, what I seen at that game last night was one very well coached team , and one that wasn't.
Took my youngest daughter of our 3 girls that is 15 and she said "wow Daddy our defense is pretty bad".
She also asked who was #57 because she thought he was exceptionally bad.
I just .
Anaheim was coached to shoot high last night and they did all night on Jhonas and it paid dividends.
I would fault Jhonas for one of the 6 goals. The others were just laser point accurate shots that no goalie was going to stop last night.
Not to mention Jhonas got no help from his defense.
Funniest moment for my daughter and I last night was while exiting there was a father son team leaving with bags over their heads.
Myers may have had a goal but the guy is a joke on defense.
Watch the highlights of the 2nd period at the 14:45 mark when Myers looks completely inept.
I just can't take watching him anymore. |

Isn't the Islanders pick top 10 protected though? |

correct
if the pick is a top ten pick, the islanders have the right to defer the pick to the next season, does not mean they will |

It's komets with a K. And I didn't know he was their goalie. I might have to go to a game when they make it back in town |

We have a number of decent goaltender prospects in the system it's just that nobody stands out right now. If we look at moving Miller to St. Louis I would like Elliott in return, not saying that's the deal but part of the package. |

As much as I want Ott resigned, I think he'll be on the move. Not sure on Molson yet, it's a bit early yet. He could be part of the rebuild. And I would seriously consider moving Ehrhoff. |

Yes mhp.
I have said Miller to St.Louis even before the work stoppage.
Miller will still be wearing blue and gold even after he leaves Buffalo. |
