just haven't noticed him, I guess.

I wasn't horrified by this team until that NJ game in the preseason, when it was obvious that they couldn't score.

Mason's been great; he's been awesome to watch and I'm glad he's here.

It's been difficult to find other bright spots on this team. Really difficult.

- AllInForFlyers

it really was like a morgue in the exhibition season...unlike anything else in recent memory.

in'06, i had zero faith in what clarke had done, but this team has more talent than that god forsaken crew.

There is absolutely no creativity in Girouxs game right now.
- MBFlyerfan

I'd take him off the 1st team pp, it can't look any worse.

This has to be one of the most boring games ever..
If BF4 on the PC didn't crash so much I would so be playing that vs watching this.

I guess our offensive game plan is to shoot immediately upon crossing the blue line, and then go for a line change.

It's been a pretty boring product most of the season.

don't blame you there. things are going to be busy with this team, so we're all gonna want to post here.

there's so little no hope of them being a cup contender as they are presently constituted...and we're barely hanging on as a plyoff wannabe.

that happened way too fast since '10.

- isaiah520

We knew that they were taking steps back in making the Richards/Carter deals. Deals that pretty much everyone, yourself included loved. Now it seems many are balking at the inevitable growing pains that come with a rebuild. Nobody expected it to be this much of a setback, but the Season is still young.

Did Voracek think there was only 2 seconds left in the period when there was really 18? Just took a worthless shot which resulted in a possession change. These guys need to get possession in deep and break down the coverage and get good scoring chances. They're just one and done so often

He's fine. I feel better about his game from what he's shown. He needs to fill out more and he will be an elite 3rd line center much like handzus or bolland
- Just5

I think that he'll be that in the least. He could turn out to be a lot more.

Flyers seem too focused on structure. Its robotic out there, especially in the offensive zone.

No creativity, and if thats Berube's style, I'm not a fan.

On that last shift the Flyers have the puck behind the Devils net, and he's just still. I'm screaming skate to the net Giroux, but he's not moving his feet, and again, playing on the perimeter.

I think he can be elite defensively, a top pk guy, strong on faceoffs and a 20 goal, 50 point player. Think Guy Carbonneau if you can remember that far back.

Flyers are playing a tight checking game tonight. Exactly the way they should play on the road on the 2nd game of a back to back.

I wish the NHL still kept track of offensive zone time as I'd love to see what the Flyers' time is. They just seem to spend no time in the O-zone once doing the work to get in there with the puck. Every shift that Jagr line grinds around and eventually punches holes in coverage. They'll get one eventually doing that.

they might ... neither team is giving up that many prime chances.
- FlyerGuy

I like your optimism, but I'd really feel better if they could score a 2nd goal.
