Exactly my point, JS. - bmeltzer
Bill still up. Impressive.
Kind of a really wild question, but what do you think of the management/ownership of the current team. Hard to answer I am sure with some of your connections, but I am curious of your thoughts. |

JUST IN!!!
"New bed sheets" have surpassed "a quality goalie" on the Flyers' wish list! |

Haha, no offense or anything but if you are so concerned with the actions of two teams that you apparently are not a fan of, maybe you need to get laid or something. - flyer_nutter
No offense or anything, but fans who are not trolls, and the Emperor is not a troll, are welcome to post wherever they like. The Flyers' actions brought them to the attention of pretty much anyone who watches hockey. |

Just got back from arena. Need to sleep on that question to come up with a coherent answer.

None taken Bo, and my impression of him as as a troll.

Love these Pens fans coming out of the woodwork to whine about Emery and hope "someone takes him out". I make no excuse for what Emery did, it was definitely wrong. But as a Pens fan wishing that you have to equally be ok with "someone taking out" Malkin. Cant have it both ways. |

Emery should be suspended at least 3 games for what he did.
the Cap players on the ice should probably be suspended for a game as well, for not even attempting to help Holtby. - FlyerGuy
Latta immediately tried to get to Emery, but was being held back by the ref..not sure if it was Larue or St. Laurent. What do you want them to do, hit the ref? |

I'm not Bill, but I play him on TV. The team's reactionary approach to "development" will be in place as long as Snider lives. We'll be on a Chicago-Blackhawks'-Bill-Wirtz-like death watch here. |

I don't want anyone to take him out. He's worked hard to get to where he is now, not sure why he would pull some bs like this and essentially revert back.
But, if Emery ever plays a game against the Capitals again this year, which seems likely, you can bet your ass Wilson, Chimera, Volpatti, and possibly Oleksy will be looking to rattle him all game. |

I didn't see one, single Cap trying to get at Emery when he was pounding Holtby. |

My question is that if the ref wasnt letting anyone else get involved why he then made zero effort to break it up any of the three times Holtby fell down? |

Emery went after Holtby...Holtby made it pretty clear he didn't want to fight. You've got to respect that. And Holtby had nothing to do with the 7 goals the Caps scored and any feelings of "running it up" the Flyers may have had in the 3rd. - wolfhounds
You know if that dumb a$$ would let at least one goal in maybe he wouldn't get beat up. But "no", he wanted to get shutout... |

What would you guys consider trading for Reimer at this point? |

Yeah, I try not to be hard on officials, but he obviously handled that wrong. LaRue or St Laurent, not sure which one was there. |

oh man, your team is so tough. Only cost you Vinny and Downie to injuries to show it too. |

The Flyers don't have a goalie problem. Mason has been solid. Anyone who actually watches hockey would know that this season the Flyers have an everything else problem. You can't win 0 to anything. |

didn't say that.
and I already said that Emery deserves to be suspended. It was 100% wrong what he did.
simply saying that the Caps on the ice could have done a much better job at protecting their goalie. |

Just checked out Mason's numbers and they're surprisingly good considering that he's 3-6-0 and the team's overall record. |
