We can agree to disagree -- with the way we played last night, Luke Schenn isn't the biggest, or only, problem on this team.
- AllInForFlyers

Nobody is immune on this team with the exception of Steve Mason. I'd scratch them all if I could. But Luke Schenn deserves this with his play. I would've have scratched him earlier in the year, instead of Meszaros.

You did say that; I didn't agree with it, but I recall you saying that.

Scott Hartnell wouldn't be playing tonight if it was up to me. He needs to sit.

L. Schenn a healthy scratch. Lol. Homey Da Clown keeps on winning.

Very common for Dmen who are in the NHL for 5 years to regress to the mean.

Gill at least knows his limits & will likely take better angels to limit that part of his game.

Good news. The slower the defense core, the more we can eat you guys up on the fore check.

Beware the CBGB line.

From what I've been told, Downie...broken orbital bone and all...was not concussed.

About as common as #1 centers whose level of play should put them in the press box.

Ya I saw him say that earlier. Either way, what's the estimated time table on his return? A month?

Tim Panaccio ‏@tpanotchCSN 3m
Holmgren vigorously denies Downie has broken orbital bone. Bad concussion he said. Lecavalier plays TUE in Carolina. Facial contusion

"bad concussion" sounds worse than "broken orbital bone"

I'd much prefer him to have the broken orbital bone over the bad concussion

Are you sure? Looks like a lot of pucks. Some might say the bucket is overpayment. I'm not quite ready to go there yet.

They are foam pucks you'd give kids so they could play with them inside the house.

As fan of a team that has struggled mightily (Avs) the last few years it's easy to see when a team has screwed up chemistry. This team has some real good talent but it's so dis jointed.

And because of that the chemistry is putrid, Please Tell me who are the leaders on this team ? If your leaders are nolonger able to be big time contributors your team really suffers. Kimmo has been a good leader for a long time but he's no more then a 6th D-man @ best now sorry but he's too slow for the game today.

Sorry but as of now the Flyers D is a complete joke, the reason they are lowest scoring team in the NHL is they Can't get the puck out of their own end. And because of that the Forwards really get tired of backing all the time and eventually quit and then is when it gets really bad. And they are there now.

The Flyer fans who suggest getting rid of the old gaurd on"D" are right, that's the place to start. Get some younger and hungrier D-Men ,even average and this team would so much better. Until then sorry guys it not gonna get better.
