As someone said earlier in the thread, the punching in the back of the head was the worst part. Just completely unnecessary.

Emery should be suspended at least 3 games for what he did.

the Cap players on the ice should probably be suspended for a game as well, for not even attempting to help Holtby.

I didn't care for Emery's actions, but the brawl is really nothing earth shattering. Its happened before & will again.

I'm far more concerned about the the fact thay they got their asses handed to them on home ice and by and large the result was the team quitting.

I'm not sure how Berube can allow Timo to play. As much as I love the guy, and think he has the heart of a lion, he is easily the worst D man on the team. Slow as hell, and he can't win a puck battle along the boards to save his life.

I'd also add that Grossmann needs to sit, as well. If the Flyers simply replace Timo and Grossmann with a couple of Phantoms they'd probably look twice as good as they do now.

They simply need to get faster/quicker ... especially on defense. It's just embarrassing how pitifully slow they are to react to loose pucks. It's almost laughably bad.

The biggest joke of the night is that's whoever voted for the 3 stars gave Emery the 3rd star of the game. Apparently for beating down a guy who didn't want to fight him. It sure wasn't for keeping the puck out of the net. Shaking my head.
