Some people didn't get hugged enough as kids - funmaster18
Man, some of us have watched thousands of Flyers games. I get why we're here. We're miserable and misery loves company.
People who aren't that who are here...well, it says a lot about what those kinds of people are.

Yup. It's kind of sad. I don't mind playful comments poking fun after a loss but some people take it to a new level of embarassment |

It was bad enough to see the Flyers get rolled like that last night, now today we have to listen to fans of a franchise of a team that employed the guy who ended Marc Savard's career explain hockey morality?
It's going to be a long, long day. - AllInForFlyers
Are we here debating or defending Cooke? But hey, since you opened that can o worms. Cookes hit was cheap and indefensible, but also legal, and Savard did play again after that. And when it comes to concussions, who gets credit for ending the career? The guy who gave him the last one, first major one? Because each prior concussion contributes to the likelihood and severity of subsequent concussions, so to put all the blame on just one seems a bit harsh.
Every team has scumbags on their roster currently, or in the past. Zero exceptions there. So if someone's team having employed a scumbag means they can't talk about ethics, or morality, than 0 people on this site can talk about it. |

Man, there was nothing that happened in that game last night that you want to know about.
It was truly horrific, truly horrific, on any number of levels. It was one of those losses that those of us who watched will never, ever forget.

whyd you come here today bro? To talk about hockey or start poop? What's your point in all of this? It's going to be ok don't worry - funmaster18
To talk hockey. But most flyers fans here today can't even handle fellow Flyers fans criticizing what Emery did. Any attempt at logical, reasoned discussion made by fans of other teams is met with insults pulled from the pile of standard cliche insults about whatever particular fan base, or shots at someones manhood, current place of residence, and on down the line.
And really if anyone should be able to objectively look at that game last night, it should be a Pens fan. We hate both sides equally. |

Snider was there last night. If they didn't have a game today, I wouldn't have been the slightest bit surprised if a few guys got moved this morning.
He said that you can't fire the players, when they gave Laviolette the hook. But at this point -- and this won't save Paul Holmgren -- Snider knows that it's the players, too.

Like I said, I get why some are upset about Emery. I am ok with it because I liked that he showed some emotion. that second period was disturbing. the way they laid down at the sign of adversity is alarming to me. How they come out tonight will say a lot about the players on the team. |

Funny I don't see you taking hockey here very often good timing. I'm sure holtby is in a lake of tears about how emery stripped his manhood away last night. Seriously no one will remember this after next week. Was it against "the code"? Probably, but people are acting like emery murder holtby and his family. The guy stayed in te game as complete a shut out. |
