I missed a pretty exciting game eh?

Emery with a 14 save shut out. With our #1 shutdown Dman a healthy scratch? Nuts...

Sixers 3-0! Beat the Bulls and the Heat haha unreal

It's an eastern division plot to prevent the Sixers from landing Wiggens, getting a healthy Noel and then sign Lebron and the second best FA with all their cap space.

I was wrong, I didn't think this team would bounce back from that ugly game last night. This was clearly G best game of the year, he had some jump in his step. That had to make this team feel better about themselves.

I hope so. But the pattern has been take a step forward, take a step back. I still think Giroux is playing too much on the outside and not getting to the net. On a number of shifts he stopped skating when he could have moved to open ice and made himself available for a pass in a good scoring area.

He did. But he wasn't tested wide a lot. A good skating fast team would take advantage of that.

Baby steps, baby steps. I'll take what I can get from this team. This is a building block for them.

Pronger is done, this is likely Timonen's last Season. And the Flyers are building a stable of young defense prospects. It takes time.

That's the problem, your opinion is formed by others and by those who analyze from afar. What's obvious is that they're struggling right now, but there are a lot of factors involved. What's obvious is that they have a young team with a lot of forwards 25 or under. They've got some good defense prospects. Looks like they have a good young goalie. A few key moves and this team is right back in the hunt.

Clearly what I do understand is that the Flyers need to remain patient and let the young player mature. Your opinion is filled with hypocrisy, in stating that the Flyers never stick to a plan, and then criticize them for doing exactly that. They made the big trades and a big change in direction. We knew that it was going to be a step back. Unfortunately they've hit some speed bumps, and the team has not gotten off to a great start. But there is a lot of season left, and time to turn it around, get back in the playoff hunt. And continue to develop the young players.

And as far as Bryzgalov is concerned, it didn't work out. But what you don't consider is that they signed him to a 9 year deal! Clearly that move was not made just for the short term.

I look at every move objectively. And not just through the narrow microscope of the current level of play of the team. And I take all the factors into consideration.

i'll add one correction that's a small sample of proof that i had my own opinion then and it is others who are parroting me these days...keeping in mind that all of your so-called knowledge was acquired by osmosis.

flyers now have a crying need for a young dman who'll be ready to play by '12-13.

Remember the warning?

It still holds. You don't get to tell someone what they should think. You don't get to throw around "what you don't understand." You don't get to tell someone what "their problem is."

Talk about your own opinion. Refute someone else's points with facts or figures. But don't pretend you are the king of logic and reason.

Three months. Nonnegotiable. Don't PM me unless you're looking for the commissioner to extend it.

The 76ers are 3-0. This absolutely has to be the biggest surprise in sports this year, no sarcasm.

And make the NBA fun to watch, which I thought was well nigh impossible.

Petr Straka had a couple of goals tonight for the Phantoms; Nick Cousins had a couple of assists. Mark Alt also had an assist.

Cousins leads the Phantoms in scoring, with 8 points in 11 games, I think, something like that, and the Phantoms have won three straight.

Those are the right names in a win, for them and maybe, one day, us.

Liking hockey fights and approving of fighting in real life are two different things. If you support a society that discourages physical confrontation hat will trickle down to sports. Though a generalization, more men than women support fighting everywhere thus the term feminizing.

Sickening just how similar the Bombers and Flyers are right now no?

Im sure if some of the Philly guys new, they would come after us for having cursed the team. Its exactly the same, right down to the coaching, and underlying ownership issues.

Sorry I am late responding, kid had a hockey game today, but I agree 100%, I am so happy the football season is finally over, I can admit I have not watched a full game in like 5-6 weeks. Hope they can re tool that team soon.
