And the way things are, it won't matter if it is Homer, Hexy, or the ghost of Art Ross, the Flyers are dealing from a position of weakness. They'll be stripped naked on every potential deal if they deal in desperation. Eat the losses this year, unload what you can at the trade deadline, have a good draft, and deal in the off season.

Which Schenn, because in a line fight, you don't exactly have your choice of dance partners. And it was Brayden, not Luke, who was fighting there. Brayden is typically not a fighter. Although he did have a fight in the season opener.

I'm assuming he's not using his transitional phrases. Surely he's a smart enough hockey fan to know that the kind of line fight that happened tonight isn't uncommon when a team is struggling and being blown out. Surely he's seen that before in his many years of close hockey watching in the hockey hotbed that is SoCal. I'm sure he didn't become a fan just two years ago.

Even barring goonery, the Flyers' performance so far this year has been a joke. Although not at all a funny one for we fans.

I suspect homer is possibly going to try to make another trade to save his job. A GM on the hot seat is dangerous. If he stays passive it looks like he's not productive or proactive in trying to get the team winning, so making a trade or two might be Homer trying to save his job which is the scary part.

I'm all for one of Simmonds or hartsy traded and on D kimmo, mez, gross.

Worst part is homer can't trade the guys he got for Cartsy and richie and jvr without saving face.

Now we don't know. That guy might have got the banhammer already. We, as a Flyers thread, were warned by both Bo and OB that personal attacks will yield a 3 month ban, with no warning. As a I recall, Bo called our first warning the Code of Conduct.

So just because Bo didn't call him out doesn't mean nothing was done. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

Emery was just showing his frustration on several matters. He does not want to be a back up, he does not like the team in front of him when he does play, he does not like to lose and all of above triggered him. I love Ray Emery and old man Snyder should turn Emery loose on his teamates and beat them into showing up for games. Seriously Ray is a battler and very competitive and he just snapped. No suspension forthcoming but he will be on a short rope with Lord Shanahan.
