Correct, Weber makes 20 million or more, through 2017-18
http://capgeek.com/player/1042 - tomburton99
Do the math. That's impossible. It's a contract for a total of 104. How can he make more than 20 a year for 6 years? thats 120 million |

I haven't actually seen the video, so I'm wondering why Vinny was out there. Did this thing start spontaneously, or did both sides know the dance was about to start?
Vinny was playing well, no?
That's going to hurt if he is out. - Atomic Wedgie
It was pretty spontaneous..

I'm not criticizing the spending of money - half of all things I own have a Leafs logo on it (line from Fever Pitch: "it's like you live in the Red Sox' gift shop.")
I just find it weird to have three of the same guy... - Atomic Wedgie

WOW, Penguin trolls are in full force in here today. No matter how much I dislike that team and its players. when they are playing poorly or on a losing streak etc, I can't find it in me to click on their forums and talk trash...What does it prove, it must make you penguin fans feel so great to go to other fourms and talk useless poop...
I salute you all
Clap Clap Clap Clap - Buzzo
You've got it all wrong -- they "just want to talk hockey." They're just fans of the sport, not trolls, who are deeply wounded by Ray Emery's actions against a team they don't root for and, spirits crushed forever by a line brawl, are merely looking for a place to bare their souls, cleanse their minds, and renew their passion for the sport.
They just happened to wind up here.
Miracle of miracles, right?
If it was me, I'd show a little backbone and just say, "Yeah, I pretty much hate your franchise. I loved watching you guys get rolled."
At least you can respect that. Not that whiny, passive-aggressive "I just want to talk hockey" crap. |

Yep, 14 million total, 13 in the form of a bonus, 1 million salary. If you think its' 14 million salary plus 13 signing bonus for a total of 27 million this year you're dumb. Because that would mean 108 million over the first 4, and 178 million total. Which would be weird because the deal is only worth 104 total, over 14 years. Also, that would throw the AAV and cap hit well beyond 7.8. - schiefer466
i was adding the salary and the bonus. i think you're right. |

Most of the reasons groceries cost more isn't because of inflation. It's over regulation of farms etc.
On top of the that, the cost of fuel has sky rocketed over the last 6 years etc.
This isn't a knock on either political party. They both suck and they both work together to screw the people. - Flyersgod
A weakening US dollar is the cause for all that was mentioned. But I agree both suck |

None the less. You're math means he gets 120 over the first 6. So he makes -10 million of the last 8 years? Don't think the PA would go for that. |

Can You do that during a suspension? Thought it was similar to IR where you have to wait for them to come back. Guess not. |

I am. But that huge bonus was part of my point about him not being traded, except possibly in the offseason before the next bonus comes in. But once they write that check he's cemented in until the season is over. |

exactly, simple math would show that if you add them together Weber makes more than 120 million in 4 years. Which again, for a deal worth less than 120 million should send up some red flags. |

This wouldn't be an issue if you (all mods, especially some bloggers) weren't so arbitrary in your application of bans. |

nothing is perfect, but most of the mods do a good job ... bodiva especially.
and posters don't know what goes on behind the scenes, and whether someone is banned. They base their idea of whether a mod is doing a good job simply on what they see happening on their screen. |

I actually don't. Ben just posted one, but he hasn't in like a week and no one comments in his anyway. But, your comment really hits the point home...what does it matter what team forum it is? That should not change how a mod gives out bans supposedly based on a universal code of conduct. |
