I at least respect how eloquently you are putting "I'm a mod, I'll do what I want." I understand you have the power to, but I thinks it's dumb you completely ignore the CoC if someone has the same fan tag as you. - Antilles
Those I've banned would know that you do not know what you're talking about. I guarantee I've banned Flyers and Rangers fans more often than any others (they being my main thread responsibilities). But in the current type of situation, the biggest issue for escalation comes from the trolls. Try not to be one any more today.

that was a link to shea weber's deal. not sure what happened.....i still have it on a tab and it isn't close to the offer sheet you posted. let's try it again...
http://capgeek.com/player/1042 - hogweed
Two things. First, it is exactly what I posted. 1 million salary, 13 signing bonus for 4 years, then 4 salary, 8 bonus. Not sure where you're getting 20 million from. According to my laptop, cap geek says his total salary this year is 14 million, of it 13 comes from a signing bonus. Feel free to prove me wrong. But you claimed i was wrong and used a link offering a 2nd source confirming my claim, as proof of me being wrong.
Secondly, of course its the same as the offer sheet. The offer sheet became the actual contract the moment Nashville matched it. |

Need? No one - Flyersgodneeds a jersey. I had received a black Giroux practice jersey and wanted a regular one. So, I got a regular orange one. Then he became captain, and I got another one.
Whu not just get a "C" sewn on the jersey you already own? |

You willingly come into a Flyer board trying to start poop. Its like walking into a bar, hitting on a chick and having to deal with the boyfriend.
Stop crying. Nobody is forcing you to come on the Flyers board. Its hockeybuzz. You have your own page, and the general page in Ek's blog. |

it's called a mistake. ask your family what that means. weber's stats are up now
ps- i inserted a question mark after your rhetorical question. glad i'm not the only one who can't get it right - hogweed
And those stats show, 14 million a year, 13 of signing bonus. Where this 20 million of which you speak. further on that point, 20 million in any year would have been a greater difference between high and low years than Kovalchuks deal, and likely been shot down by the league for it. |

As one who got cracked down upon, I can attest to that -- and it was fair.
It never ceases to amaze me how many pure and righteous citizens "just want to talk hockey" when their teams are doing well. If the Flyers were 12-0, I wonder how many non-Flyers fans would "just want to talk hockey" in a Flyers-based blog.

Probably at least $400-$500 for me the wife, and 2 munchkins. - Emperor Filonius
When my son was under a year old I probably spent a ton more because of formula.
I think its ok to spend that amount of money if you're making it. But when people on food stamps are eating better than me, I'm a little annoyed.
Instead of food stamps, the gov't should use the money its taken from taxes and buy necessary foods at wholesale prices and allow familys to come and get what they need. So the same family of 3 gets the same stuff other families of 3 get.
I only asked because I read on the internet the gov't warning everyone of potential riots because of the 37$/mnth reduction in food stamp payments.
Didn't mean to take the subject off of hockey.. but at the time the thread was pretty nasty.. figured it wouldn't be a big deal to bring up then |

Well, you'll have to ask Wilson, who wanted the fight. His team was blowing out the Flyers at the time. Once that started, under the circumstances I don't see it not becoming a line fight, no matter who the two teams are. Even the Sedins would have had dance partners at that point. - bodiva88
I haven't actually seen the video, so I'm wondering why Vinny was out there. Did this thing start spontaneously, or did both sides know the dance was about to start?
Vinny was playing well, no?
That's going to hurt if he is out. |

first col, after the year, is ahl salary, second is nhl salary, third is bonus and last is cap hit. |

Speaking of getting rid of some dead weight, I wonder if Edmonton would have any interest in Hartnell.
I think you are stuck with Streit, and Meszaros but there should be a taker for Coburn/Grossmann. |

I look at this team and I see the following as should not be traded
FORWARDS
1. Giroux ..Sorry I am not one of the people here calling him a fraud after 11 games but ignoring the past 3 seasons and his 55 playoff points in 50 games.
2. Voracek.. obviously talent ..young..dynamic
3. Rinaldo ..1 dumb game in the past 2 years does not negate a player that never takes a shift off..
Every other player is available for trade..
Defense
1. Timmo needs to get 5-6 dman minutes. He just doesnt't have it anymore. I love him, an honorable warrior but time has caught up to him.
2. Everyone else available for trade.
Goalie
1. Looks like Mason is the real deal.
2. Emery..I have no issues with what he did last night.. He showed anger, heart, frustration vs skating around crying about how his confidence is shot.
If you can move some combo of B Schenn and Datsyuk V2 for a number 1 or 2 dman then sign me up.
Assuming they continue to suck all year I hope they don't screw up their pick by winning another 5 meaningless games at the end of the year. |

It would serve the Flyers well to get more balanced. I'm not sure both Hartnell and Simmonds (not to mention Rinaldo and Downie) are needed on this team.
Losing Hartnell and getting an infusion of speed/skill would be a nice start. |

WOW, Penguin trolls are in full force in here today. No matter how much I dislike that team and its players. when they are playing poorly or on a losing streak etc, I can't find it in me to click on their forums and talk trash...What does it prove, it must make you penguin fans feel so great to go to other fourms and talk useless poop...
I salute you all

Yep, 14 million total, 13 in the form of a bonus, 1 million salary. If you think its' 14 million salary plus 13 signing bonus for a total of 27 million this year you're dumb. Because that would mean 108 million over the first 4, and 178 million total. Which would be weird because the deal is only worth 104 total, over 14 years. Also, that would throw the AAV and cap hit well beyond 7.8. |

Same, GD inflation - aosplayo
Most of the reasons groceries cost more isn't because of inflation. It's over regulation of farms etc.
On top of the that, the cost of fuel has sky rocketed over the last 6 years etc.
This isn't a knock on either political party. They both suck and they both work together to screw the people. |

Sickening just how similar the Bombers and Flyers are right now no?
Im sure if some of the Philly guys new, they would come after us for having cursed the team. Its exactly the same, right down to the coaching, and underlying ownership issues. |

I'm not criticizing the spending of money - half of all things I own have a Leafs logo on it (line from Fever Pitch: "it's like you live in the Red Sox' gift shop.")
I just find it weird to have three of the same guy... |
