ya on average how many teams have guys in their top nine or top 4d that have echl time? not that many so ya i would say this is a problem.

Anyone have a picture of a merry go round? It's pretty obvious you need to trade some skilled forward depth for help in various areas. Only the Oilers brass can't see it or won't do anything about it.

Nelson isn't doing a good job with our players. Our forwards still haven't learned how to backcheck or the positioning to support the puck againgst turnovers while they are on offense. It's not just the fault of our D & the goalies for the high number of shots & goals we're giving up. Eakins also hasn't been any good at the defensive part of the game either. There's lots of blame to go around and that includes the Assistant Coaches also.
It's getting really tough to watch these games. Eller had a point that the Oilers style of play is like that of a junior team.
