i like orr, love the guy really, but he just doesnt have the speed these days.

you cant lay a quality hit or forecheck properly when you are that slow...the only hits orr gets these days are when the other player is pinned along the boards and really doesnt have anywhere to go.

ashton is not good, hes decent at cycling the puck down low...but not a game changer.

No, but I think he's willing to try. See, I don't want to sit here and say "let's keep Ashton" or anything like that, I'm merely just giving some credit to the kid for his willingness to do what the coach's have told him to do in terms of his game, his effort to do more is there, and there have been a few times I've watched the tv and wondered who is that in a good way, thinking smart hockey play, and i'm shocked it's him. Again, this isn't about me saying oh he's so good, it's more about I'm shocked at how much he has improved and the fact he's actually trying to do things this team needs him to do.
