Kessel's mood lately is happier than I've ever seen him. He even had a smile on his face when Kadri slid into the end boards. The Leafs are flying high right now but i think after a bad loss it'll all come crashing down. Hopefully with the 5 days off after VAN Carlyle has them working on defense. But ideally it would be a good time to trade Gards, and somehow get rid of Ranger. Put Liles back in and Fraser should be healthy.

Im not so sure. Though I missed the games, they did have a bad loss to the BJ's and won 3 straight after that...no? Same with the Hawks game. Lost that game and rebounded nicely agains't a hot Ducks team.

Then it started freezing during gameplay. Im actually about to turn the crapbox on right now.

The game vs the BJ was the worst officiated game i have seen in a while. The Leafs weren't exactly dominating but that game was very winnable. I mean like a BAD loss. No one expected them to beat the Cup champions. If they lose to a Philly, Buffalo, Edmonton, Florida, New Jersey then the comet known as nihilistic Leafs fans may start to implode.

Teams usually rebound after really bad losses. We did lose to the catfishlike bottom feeders known as the Canes. They'll be fine...I think...and hope.

Let's hope. Who knows how much we are relying on Kessel and JVR too. If one of those guys go down it could be bad. But for the first time in a long time the Leafs are solid thru 3 lines and the fourth line can actually skate and defend now. Bolland and Raymond have been HUGE role players so far.

Reimer's first overall in the NHL in sv%, Bernier's not far behind. There's no indication they are looking to move Reimer just yet, they are going with the two-headed monster in net.

Reimer's numbers are even better. There's no clear-cut #1. And no goalie is being moved. That would be so silly and far too fast to pull a move like that.

What a position the Leafs are in. 2 25 year-old goalies. They will cash-in on one in the future nicely. But that time is not this season.

The TSn panel between periods picked the best goalie tandem in the NHl and 2 out of 3 picked Varlamov/Giguerre over Bernier/Reimer. This was about an hour before news broke of what Varlamov did.

Yes and no.

The Canucks will have more games played, even if they have 1 more point after tonight. A point they got in a game they lost. Both teams will have 10 wins IF the Canucks win tonight. Plus their GF and GA ratio differential is brutal compared to Torontos.
