It's funny that Toronto is top 5 in goals scored, and top 7 in fewest goals against (avg), but they're lucky to be winning.
So...Toronto has 16 more GF than GA, and the Canucks have 1 more GF than GA, yet we're the lucky ones....okay... - systemtool
That team is on a downward trend and they just extended the Sisters who are on the wrong side of 30 for 4 years.
The cupboard is bare, the roster's aging quickly, and they have nothing to show for it. Future is not looking good for the Canucks. |

Yup.... and their goaltending last year was unsustainable considering Anderson had never before approached those numbers. Sens fans thought that it was a sure fire lock that Anderson put up the same # this year as last year. He's fallen back to his career average and it's showing with the team. - burn
Anderson has been great in short sample sizes. 24 games last year only, and 18 games when he first joined the Sens about 3 years ago. Outside of that, hes been nothing but average.
Yet he is seen as goalie elite, while nobody should dare saying anything positive about Reimer and Bernier because of their small sample sizes. |

They seemed to have missed their window over the last 3 or 4 years. Never know though. |

Yeah.. Looks like Kesler is getting his game back too. Lu always has a slow start but gets better. Vancouver needs more support from their back end so look for Edler, Garrison, Bieska, and Hamhuis to be blasting shots from the point. |

Agreed. And they have a coach who is only going to make the whole mess alot worse.

Tommy DeVito, fan of the fairy Sens, called the Leafs softer than babypoop. That was my favourite. - systemtool

Yeah it's nice to see.. I don't think the got one shorty last year. Ranger's goal was an empty net, but he put it in from the blue line. Not sure Phaneuf's aim would have been good enough. - Arctic_AARDVARK
one last year. |

The core is still intact and I see them making the playoffs the next couple of years, but I don't expect them to make any noise; window has closed for that team, considering goalies over 35 drop off sharply in performance outside of a few freaks (Brodeur, Thomas). |

Luongo is a freak.. Pretty sure he wont be slowing down for a while. It's fun to berate the Canucks, but i wouldn't write them off yet. Traditionally the Leafs don't match up well against them so there's a chance the trolls could be out in full force tonight. |

Kuli meh.
Clarkson surprisingly flat offensively.
Sedin's just signed new contracts so they'll probably have something to prove.

Hopefully he's a good Carlyle player, but he doesn't have a good rep with Russians. I could see him getting moved after a few games. |

We need somebody heavy on the boards, not sure if you've noticed us playing 58 minutes a game in our own end
lol, maybe not 58 mins, but (frank)ing seems close some nights |

He's one man,, he's not going to dramatically improve the team, especially considering all the time he has missed. With his buddy Grabo gone i hope it doesnt effect him too much. |

Grabo?
Kuleman helped Grabo I believe, Kule's not out there to score goals he's out there to cause turnovers and help us out of our end
at least I hope
Big win tonight....GLG
