the fact that no deal transpired.. means Nonis wouldn't pay what Gillis was asking.
we know what Nonis was willing to deal for Bernier.
I don't think you can criticize Nonis for a deal he "didn't make". - BorjeFan4Ever
ding ding ding
Nonis getting Bernier and turning down Scrivens and a pick for Luongo is a grand slam homer by Nonis

Just about all of Nonis moves have been working out.
I missed the last 4 games, which were also Clarksons 4 games played so far. How have he and the team been playing in that span? Has he been a presence on the ice and was the team playing well in those games? |

Clarkson - you don't want to know. - Woderwick
yes he does. He's one of the seemingly few that understand Clarkson isn't here just to score goals.
He's been exactly as advertised (considering he's 10 games behind everybody else).
For some reason Carlyle hasn't put him on the PP with Kadri and Lupul yet, which is odd given 1/4 of his career goals are PP, and Lupul is the net presence right now. Rather not have his brittle bones in the line of fire...

i think the fact that he was working on a deal for bernier is more proof that he was working on a deal for luongo... you are allowed to have more than one deal on the go at once - DarcyTucker16
I think the fact he said NO to Scrivens + 2nd for Lou makes it pretty clear there was never much of a deal.

will be. He's had some chances. Hit the post once too I think. Raymond got a tap in off a Clarkson rebound where he stole the puck in the neutral zone, danced the D and got a nice shot through.
Once he takes Raymond's spot on the PP, he'll start getting more looks.
Plus he's been an absolute horse on the boards. Comes out with the puck 90% of the time. |

This is true. Raymond is great for our PK more than the PP. |

Crossed the line between "energy making" and "I'm going to murder your face because I went from a Cup winning team to this garbage and was replaced by a 40 year old drunk Russian who is getting paid more than me to be garbage on the best team in the league" |

Who said anything about him scoring goals - if you think he is playing well that's your opinion - I however disagree. It's only four games so I know he isn't up to par yet, but that being said he's far from contributing to the level he's expected to. |

Robin Lehner makes 53 saves, but NYI beats OTT in shootout.
Another loser point for the Sens.... |

Lehner is a beast. The Sens should have dealt Anderson when his value was through the roof. |
