Isles are stupid. They should have gotten MIller. They already had the 30 goals per season guy in Moulson. Ever since Snow took over as GM, he's done a great job being patient, building his team with young players, staying away from stupid trades unlike Milbury. I wondered when Snow was gonna drop the ball.

I really like a lot of what Nonis has done for us so far, but does anyone else think less highly of him knowing how hard he pushed for Luongo?

That's a serious lapse in judgment. Had he done it, he should have been fired.

Word is that Burke's team (Nonis, Fletcher, Poulin) had a deal lined up for Luongo before Burke was fired. Speculation is that it involved Kadri and/or Gardiner. Burke vetoed it.

I'm just not sure why Nonis felt at any given time that Luongo had any value. That he was STILL pushing for Luongo while Scrivens and Reimer were playing some unreal hockey blows my mind.

I find it hard to believe that Nonis was pushing hard for Lou - when last year vancouver was trying to unload the guy every other day. I'm sure if Nonis wanted Lou and Vancouver wanted to get rid of Lou we would have Lou. We don't....thank god.....or Nonis.
