i second this.....watching him win the game for Minnesota while scoring his team leading 8th and 9th goals was a touch painful.

Emery's a thug and went out of his way to cause a riot. Emery, the ref's and the pansy Cap's players standing around watching Holtby get killed are all to blame.

If he doesn't get 5 games at least there is more wrong with this game than any of us realize.

IMO, what he did is worse than Scott. So I think at least 7 should be the minimum. My actual guess is that nothing will happen to him at all. This is why the NHL is a complete joke.

He pretty much chases Holtby around. You can see Holtby telling him no on more than one occasion. Then he jumps him anyway. At one point Holtby is so off balance and turned around, yet Emery is just throwing punch after punch at the back of his head. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Maybe Holtby should have swung his stick at him like Kessel did. He probably would have been more effective that way and since the preseason is already over, he wouldn't have gotten suspended anyway.

If it's true that Darcy Regier really does have a vendetta against McNabb, then this is a travesty.

Luke Adam I couldn't care less about. He's still slow as molasses, and this forward group doesn't need to get any slower.

McNabb had a "rough" year last year. He had some ups and downs and somehow managed to fall out of favor with the club from what I've heard. He ended up finishing the season on IR. He came into camp this year very motivated and played well in the preseason here. Good to see he's being really productive in the AHL. I like him and would love to see him up here at some point, but I have a feeling he's more of a trading chip for the organization at this point.

I'm interested to see what Adam does throughout the year. I want to see how much he tapers off. If enough veterans get cleared out of here within the next couple of months, then maybe, but this forward group needs speed badly right now. Until that happens, I want no part of Adam being here. I don't care if he ends up on a 100 point pace.
