Yea the refs should have stepped in on the Emery Holtby action that was more of a mugging that a fight. Holtby didn't even want to go i think Emery may have had a good 2 punches in before he even got his gloves off.

Just saw the highlights or lowlights. No, Holtby didn't want a part of that thug. Emery needs to get two or three games for that. Ugly display by those bums. As for Downie ... out indefinately with a concussion. What a dolt. Great return to Philly.

I'm disappointed that no Caps player came to Holtby's aid. Emery has a reputation. Some Cap should've intercepted Emery, even if it meant one of them jumping the bench. I think that protecting your goaltender is worth the automatic 10 game suspension.

It was a slightly different scenario in the Pens/Isles' game, but Godard did just that when the Isles' skater (can't remember who it was) tried to go after Johnson.

And I'm happy for Megna. You can say he's playing with geno and Sid but many others didn't seize the opportunity. He has NHL skill and just goes where you need to be successful. I'm routing for him in a big way. Plus he's American USA USA USA

Talbot will always do well because he is conducive to a positive environment not a hindrance. Successful teams always have room for a guy like him if cap situation is feasible.

Just watched a recording of Pens game from last night. Jackets like to take the body and are not an easy W. Pens looking more lethal by the day offensively. Emery is a first class jerk! Why didn't any Cap help their goalie, hello?
