Holmgren won the trade. Case closed.
- PLindbergh31

I thought the trade was a win for the flyers, but when you're getting your ass kicked and you're teammates are playing like a bunch of female genitalia then kudos to Downie for stepping up. Sure as hell someone had too. If in fact Downie is messed up then shame on his teammates and they certainly need to redeem themselves.

Losses like this are needed for the changes that are necessary to fix this team. The Flyers deluded themselves that last year was a fluke. No spinning this mess.

You dislike the Downie trade that badly huh?

Well, the dolt made his presence felt in a negative way. Great return for him.

Greetings, newfriend.

Go look at whatever Habs blog is up at this point from Engels. Directly to the right of Ek's "cover story".

Probably doubling us.

Super analysis. It was definitely Downie's fault the Flyers lost tonight.

They make a trade for a guy to improve the offense, after one game they are in the same boat as before, minus Talbot. Philly typical. Train Wreck.

I need to see Hammar's comments on this game, and I'm looking forward to hearing what Tomahawk has to say about Streit's performance tonight.

Disagree, until the fight.

Why are all the cockroach penguins fans out tonight? Still Halloween?
