Sadly, I agree with this. We could probably waive Simmonds at this point and he'd get through. Everyone can see he has the puck handling ability of a rock and plays no defense.

Good move for Downie given that we gave up very little. He is also an expiring contract.

Hard to blame the critics who say this is more of the same though. I still think the front office needs a major overhaul. That won't change the old school mentality of our owner though - which is arguably the biggest problem.

No it's one thing to struggle. It's something else to completely lose any puck control you have. My 14 year old cousin is a better puck handler.

I got the solution to fix our offense. We need to bring back the catalyst of the offensive explosion we had in the 11-12 season.
