I don't want to get into all of this again but you are right....the leafs are a good team I think everyone acknowledges that, but I don't think any team in the NHL is perfect (or only has 1 flaw for that matter), so some people need to simmer.

Funny for years i remember the leafs outshooting teams and losing and being labelled a terrible team... Now they get outshot and lose and are labelled a lucky team

I can see that. And I agree I guess - just some nights (i.e. against the oil) I think they do enough for me to say yeah - that was a good win....and some nights (calgary) I think damn....I'm glad they held on and won that one. lol They are a funny team - but if you look at it - they have great goaltending and top end goal scoring - and that's why they are where they are. You can't build a team that is amazing in every aspect of the game (or it would be very hard to) - I don't know why people are so offended by the strengths the Leafs have. Clearly they (like every team in the league) have areas of weakness they need to work on and address. But they have some great strengths as well.....and bottom line that's why they are winning games...not "luck".

Oil still outplayed them. 3 posts. Multiple other chances the Reimer stoned them.

And 2 of the Toronto goals were greasy.

Fact is Leafs continue to win while getting outplayed consistently.

I agree. Im just saying, alot of people not taking the leafs for real is because we were awful for years. But we are on the upswing. People still respect the wings (and damn rightfully so) even though they have the same problem the leafs have based on past success. Plus the wings are on a downslide. These aren't the old leafs/wings.

Leafs have a real light schedule after Saturday. They'll have a more or less healthy lineup for next Friday.

Let's talk about how they're playing after that because all they're doing right now is winning.
