Oh thats a whole other issue. We have had the Leafs stuffed down our throats (forever). TSN always starts its broadcasts with Leafs news, every Saturday we get to see, yep the Leafs. Leafs, this, Leafs that. And you may have noticed, a few of you guys take your team a little too seriously. If you had to hear about any of the Western teams as often as we hear about the Leafs, trust me you'd get it.

If you ask most Nucks, Oil or Flames fans, you'll hear the same thing. We get Leafs news before most of our teams news. And then throw in the few over zealous fans of Leafs Nation... I was at the Flames/Habs game as well and it was a different atmosphere (and thank god no ole, ole... )

I can't stand Leafs fans who can look at something egregious like that and start making excuses. Just call it like it is. Every fan base has them but we have too many.

He's played pretty good. But he really shouldn't be a 30 minute guy. He struggled defensively yesterday.

Agreed man....I'd be sick of hearing it too. But you can't get mad when the question is being raised about whether or not this type of hockey is sustainable over an 82 game schedule.

That being said, I think the Leafs are a good team. And I don't see any reason why they can't adapt and become better defensively as the year moves along.

I get it. I was just saying to a friend at work yesterday that if the Leafs had to play at 4:00pm on a Saturday just because the Canucks were in town I'd be furious. CBC makes that call though so it would be tough to blame Vancouver. I know you guys deal with a lot of bullpoop but at the end of the day it's business. Networks are going to cater to the biggest markets. I don't blame you for being pissed off about it though.

Imo, the Clarkson hit was to make up for the lack of a call for Ashton's hit.

The Leafs do what they have to do to win, and now more. If they get behind they turn it up.............they force teams to shoot from the outside and only do what they need to do to win. If Calgary would have taken the lead the Leafs would hav been all over them till they had the lead back............that's just how they play.

It was a marginally bad hit for sure. I don't think it deserves suspension but it still wasn't clean.

You know what's amazing is that they very rarely (pretty much never) call it CFB in the NHL. Its always "boarding" or "cross checking", for some reason they just won't call it CFB. Not sure why that is???

Even if the Leafs won the Cup people would find a way to convince themselves that they didn't deserve it. It's not surprising that they're in first place in the East and still don't get any respect. It's easy for everyone to latch onto one flaw in their game and ignore all the other things they're doing to win games.

One flaw? Your Leafs are getting out shot 36 to 26 on avg according to NHL.com. that is one BIIIIIIG flaw. Or more likely several medium sized ones.

Watch the game. Your team didn't deserve the win. Period!.
