Always like your comments and most of the time agree. But the sabermatic thing, I don't know. If it's based on stats like I think then it's not worth a shiiit. Too much home cooking from the stats guys throughout the league. And the combination of having to use computers for the stats and the speed of the game is going to compromise the accuracy. I mean how can you use a mouse and watch the game at the same time? Stats guys can't help but missing some of the action.

Gilmour bedding his baby sitter along with the Carter/Hartnall thing are probably the most notorious. There was a Dman (Manson) in the Keenan years who had to get a restraining order his woman's ex husband who was reportedly not her ex when they started seeing each other.

Downie seems to always have locker room issues since junior. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Unlike baseball, I am not sure that any metrics can take into account the guy in the middle of the action. The goalie. A hot goalie negates a lot of those stats. Though , I am sure teams use them to self scout.
