This is a guy who use to play with Kessel. Kessel would have 20 goals right now if not for this guy. Everytime Kessel is in perfect position to shoot he passes it to this guy who blows the pass. Hence the name Blowzak.

Yeah, teams would say "LAFFS SUCK" and we'd be like "No we don't, look at our shots!! The team works hard every night!!" and then they'd go "HAHAHA yes, you have more shots but your players and team sucks which is why they don't go in"

Now its... "LAFFS SUCK, HAHAH!!! YOU HAVE NO SHOTS, YOU'RE GETTING OUTPLAYED" and we're like "No... we just have good players who can put the puck in the net" and then they're like "LAFFS SUCK, HAHAH!!! YOU HAVE NO SHOTS, YOU'RE GETTING OUTPLAYED" and we're like "No... we just have good players who can put the puck in the net" and then they're like "LAFFS SUCK, HAHAH!!! I share your passion about the Leafs. However, if u ever watch The Shining, when Jack is on the brink of insanity, he types the same thing over & over & over:

Well, I hope we can finally beat the 'C' curse tonight. The one thing we haven't been able to do this year is beat teams from cities or states starting with the letter 'C'. However, I feel that the high winning percentage of 'C' teams against us is unsustainable and will regress to the mean.

6-1 Leafs.

Well done, sir.

Well, we've never played Calgary well since the Phaneuf trade. They always seem to come out more fired up than usual.

Let the fighters off their leashes tonight and beat them in alleys early.

Yes Tyler Blowzak, the guy who may cost Kessel a shot at 50 goals.

Thoughts about us getting outshot.

I noticed the Leafs are playing a combo trap/collapsing structure in their own defensive end. The trap is not in the neutral zone, like Boston, or NJD, but rather sets up closer to the blue line and collapses towards the net. This is how they are transitiong into a counter attack at the top of our D zone.
If the team carries it in, TML are letting teams rush, but keeping them to the outside. Any and all shots/passes from the middle of the ice are blocked/attempted to be blocked, and after a few attempts at that, teams start taking perimeter shots. Leafs seem willing to let them do this as they collapse to gather the rebound and break out. It's like the Leafs defensive structure is turning the opposition into a team full of Jason Blakes.

I have noticed this, I also noticed that they have done this for huge amounts of time and then boom, they start to cut the passes off in the neutral zone out of nowhere. Rope and dope almost to the point the opposition wastes periods playing like Blake and then once they're tired, the Leafs start taking risks in cutting off dumb passes through the neutral zone. Especially our centres: Kadri, Bozak, Bolland.

Kadri and bolland keep playing the way they are and Bozak will be dropping like a stone through the lineup.

How dare you compare bozak to a stone. The stone is much more worthy

I can't take credit for it, a buddy said that today and I had to think about it...Colorado, Chicago, Carolina, Columbus. Time to break the hex! Could be a tough one though with the back-to-back factor. It would be a big win to ensure 2 of 3 out west.

I added sequel to your post, but will add that the way through this trap is to bulldoze your way through it or skate through it with skill, how the Bruins scored 3 goals and why the C teams gave us issues. Or a dump in with the right two man forecheck, again the forechecker either has to be big or really fast.

Oh how I got mocked for scooping up so many Leafs in my two fantasy pools. My rationale the whole time being that Leaf fans in the pool are too afraid to get burned to take guys, and Leaf haters in the pool still can't quite believe it's not the Ron Wilson era. A bunch of guys even said to me they had a no Leafs rule in the draft. I said thank you and scooped Kessel, JVR, Lupul, Franson, Rielly, Reimer, Bernier and Gardiner plus a few more guys across two pools. And I mean Reimer and Bernier were LATE picks. I'm laughing my ass off right now and my rivals are losing their minds.
