I see a guy like Leivo being a replacement for a guy like Raymond. I really like what Raymond has done so far this season for the Leafs, but feel if he keeps it up, he will definitely bolt for the highest bidder as a UFA.

Kule shouldn't be asking for big raise, as he has not put up the numbers to support it. If he leaves, it would likely be because he wants to try a different market, or even return the KHL. For some reason I get the impression he likes to keep things simple and does not like change, so he might want to stick around with the Leafs.

I thought it was going to happen; unfortunately it didn’t.”

I default to thinking anyone with Toronto Maple Leafs under their name is on my side... that's where I draw the line in the sand... and truth be told, if Leafs fans start jostling with me, I go very easy and hold back a lot...

Except for UG... he was the single greatest chew toy this board has ever seen... I would log on just to push a button or two and watch him go all Sybil for 30 pages... also, nobody got me banned more than UG... at least 20 times... I don't know, but I think my ban count is in the 30's...

We only disagree on two things mate...Gardiner and whether Kadri would be better for Kessel than Bozak, and in both cases you already said that if you were proved wrong you'd still be happy.

On the Gardiner side, he's been pissing me off as of late, but he looks more like a guy second guessing himself, trying to do what the coach tells him and not what his instincts tell him. Hopefully he figures out a happy medium.
