The Dark Lord and his alias are no longer users on this site, so for whoever asked, we won't see him back unless he finds a new account. That's what it looks like to me anyways. - mykokes
What was wrong with this Dark Lord? sounds creepy |

hate to say it but move kuli
he'll be too expensive as a UFA and the leafs have proven they can still do rather well without him.
Kuli is the type of player you trade at the deadline.. solid player.. has some offense.. but will simply cost too much for his role moving forward - Dozzer
Trade him for draft picks at the deadline, unless you think he'll help us win in the playoffs if we're in contention at that time |

I have to agree with you as much as I like Kuli. He's the kind of guy who does his job really well but you need to let a younger player try to do it for half the price. |

In a cap free world I'd keep him, but with a cap and having many key players to sign, there just isn't any room |

Depending on how he plays when he returns I believe we could garner a first from Pittsburgh for him. |

Who gets the start saturday? I think Reimer lack of rebound control, although better of late, will expose him against the skill of the canuck forwards. I say bernier and yes I know Reimer got a shutout last game. - Yeti1181
Agree. Bernier probably a better fit vs Canucks. I think he moves across the crease better which will be helpful given the way the twins throw the puck around. |

I'd also imagine that he feels out of place with the lack of Europeans on this team, and losing his best friend in a buy out probably didn't make him happy, although I do believe him to be a professional. |

he would go on and on about how we should have never traded Steen and Stajan |

It's tough to sit a guy who just had a shut out though. |

he's a good player.. but not a crucial piece. |

He liked to argue. Loved his pulpit, but wasn't wrong all the time. I'd say it was more a 50-50 split. He also had a great ability to fake playing dumb in many circumstances to the point you wanted to kick him in the nads. hmmmmmmm |

He's the most quiet guy I've ever seen, ZERO emotions. Looks like a (frank)ing serial killer. |

the simple truth is.. if he wants more than a couple million.. he's priced himself out of that role.
he himself might not want to resign and go see if he can establish himself elsewhere as a top 6 winger.
also.. the euro content on the leafs is quickly dwindling |

Yup. Although the thought of having Clarkson - Bolland - Kulimen seems to be like the best 3rd line evaaaaa.

I couldn't agree more, that 3 mil may end up being very important in helping us resign some very important guys as well. |

Likely Ian White. Jiri Tlusty definitely. He didn't like the Versteeg trade. He would've been very happy with the Edmonton Oilers approach, kind of wish he was around to ask him if he likes the route the Leafs went afterall since well, I rather have our roster right now over the Oilers roster. |

The purge will be complete then and Donny will be a happy man |
